The purpose of In
Search of Monster Bass and Wilderness Journey is to
encourage adventures to discover their own new "monster
bass", or "monster walleye" secret place by looking
at maps and scouting out your own hidden pond, lake, or stream. In
the process not only might you find that special fishing hole,
you'll probably discover fascinating scenery, find new wildlife
havens and develop special memories that belong only to you.
Glen's special lake and
river are located in north central Florida. Small lakes can be
destroyed with a lot of pressure, but literally hundreds of these
unique places exist that are not visited by anyone from year to
year.
How to Find Your Special Fishing Hole
Find topographical maps of the areas you want to explore (See
Topographical Map Sources page). If the property is on public
land, check with regulating agency regarding any restrictions of
entering and/or fishing the area. If the property goes through
private land, be sure to request permission from the landowner
before making your journey.
